CleanSight Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 20, 2026

CleanSight is a photo and storage organization app provided by BITESIGHT LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16604605, with its registered office at 5 Brayford Square, London, E1 0SG, United Kingdom. BITESIGHT LTD is the controller of personal information it receives through CleanSight support and the limited app services described below.

The short version

CleanSight analyzes your photos and other selected device content on your iPhone or iPad. Photo content, recognized text, contacts, and vault files are processed on your device and are not uploaded to CleanSight servers. CleanSight does use Firebase for app analytics, crash diagnostics, and remote configuration, and RevenueCat to manage purchases and subscription access. Those services receive the limited technical, usage, diagnostic, and purchase information described below.

Information processed on your device

Depending on the features you choose and the permissions you grant, CleanSight may access:

This information stays on your device unless you choose to share or export something using an Apple system feature. Deleting the app may permanently remove app-only data and vault files. Restore vault items to Photos before uninstalling CleanSight.

Information processed by service providers

CleanSight uses the following providers:

Firebase and Google Analytics

Firebase Analytics helps us understand how features are used. Firebase Crashlytics helps us diagnose crashes and reliability problems. Firebase Remote Config supplies app configuration values. Depending on the service, Google may process app interaction events, app and device information, app-instance or installation identifiers, diagnostic details, crash traces, IP addresses, and coarse location inferred from an IP address.

CleanSight uses Firebase Analytics without advertising identifier support. The app disables IDFV collection and ad-personalization signals. We do not use this information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

See Google's Firebase privacy and security information and Google's Privacy Policy.

RevenueCat and Apple

RevenueCat helps CleanSight display products, confirm purchases, restore purchases, and determine whether Pro access is active. RevenueCat and Apple may process an anonymous app user identifier, product identifiers, transaction and purchase history, subscription status, storefront information, and limited device or app information needed to provide these services. CleanSight does not receive your full payment-card details.

See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy.

Information you send to us

If you email us for support or privacy help, we receive your email address and the content and attachments you choose to send. Please do not send sensitive photos, passwords, payment-card details, or identification documents. We use support messages to respond, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, and maintain a record of the request when reasonably necessary.

Why we process information

Where UK or European data-protection law applies, we rely on:

Permissions

CleanSight asks for a permission only after explaining why a feature needs it. You can change Photos, Contacts, Notifications, and biometric-access settings in iOS Settings. Limiting a permission may limit the related feature.

Retention

Local information remains on your device until you remove it, reset the relevant feature, or delete the app. Service providers retain information according to their policies and service settings. Firebase states that Crashlytics retains crash information and associated identifiers for a limited period before deletion begins. We keep support correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary for support, security, recordkeeping, and legal obligations.

Sharing and sale

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose limited information to Apple, Google/Firebase, and RevenueCat so they can provide the services described above, and when required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.

International processing

Apple, Google, and RevenueCat may process information in countries other than yours. Their privacy notices describe their processing locations and safeguards.

Your choices and rights

You can:

Because CleanSight has no user accounts and does not upload your photo library, we usually cannot identify or retrieve on-device content. We may ask for reasonable information to verify a request concerning support correspondence.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a portable copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent. You may also complain to a supervisory authority. In the United Kingdom, this is the Information Commissioner's Office. EEA residents may contact the authority in their country. California residents may ask about access, correction, or deletion rights; CleanSight does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Read the CleanSight Data and Deletion page for device-specific deletion steps.

Children and families

CleanSight does not require an account, use behavioural advertising, or upload the photo library. A parent or guardian can manage device permissions and should supervise a child's use of cleanup and purchase features. If you believe a child sent personal information through support, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when CleanSight, its providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
