CleanSight Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of the CleanSight iOS app, provided by BITESIGHT LTD, company number 16604605, whose registered office is at 5 Brayford Square, London, E1 0SG, United Kingdom. By downloading or using CleanSight, you agree to these terms and the CleanSight EULA, which incorporates Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these terms conflict with mandatory law or Apple's applicable terms, those requirements control.

What CleanSight does

CleanSight helps you review and organize photos, videos, contacts, and other supported device content. It can suggest duplicates, similar items, screenshots, large files, blurry photos, and possible sensitive items. Results are suggestions for your review and may be incomplete or inaccurate.

Privacy Scan is not antivirus software, identity-theft protection, or a guarantee that sensitive information will be detected. CleanSight does not scan other apps, network traffic, or the operating system for malware.

Your responsibility for content and deletion

You control what CleanSight may access and every cleanup action you approve. Review selected items before confirming deletion. Apple normally moves deleted Photos items to Recently Deleted, where they may remain until you remove them or the retention period ends. Storage estimates are projections and actual available storage may differ.

Keep independent copies of important content. We are not responsible for content you intentionally delete, content removed outside CleanSight, unavailable iCloud items, or losses caused by device failure, operating-system behavior, or third-party services, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Private vault

Vault items are stored only on your device, are excluded from backup, and may be protected by Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode. Saving an item to the vault does not remove the original from Photos. Live Photos are stored as still-image copies. Restore any vault items you want to keep before deleting CleanSight, erasing or replacing your device, or performing an action that removes app data. Existing vault items remain available for restoration if Pro access ends, but new imports may require Pro.

Pro plans and purchases

CleanSight may offer auto-renewing monthly or annual subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase. The products, prices, currency, billing period, renewal terms, and any trial for which Apple determines you are eligible are shown before purchase.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• Auto-renewing subscriptions continue until cancelled. Apple may charge within the period shown in your Apple subscription settings before renewal.
• Manage or cancel a subscription in iOS Settings under your Apple Account's Subscriptions section. Deleting CleanSight does not cancel a subscription.
• A free trial, when displayed, is available only to eligible users under Apple's rules. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription converts to the displayed paid plan.
• Lifetime access is a one-time purchase for the supported CleanSight app and features offered under that purchase. It is not a promise that every future product or separately offered service will be included.
• Use Restore Purchases in CleanSight to restore supported purchases made with the same Apple Account.

Apple handles billing, refunds, taxes, and payment methods under its policies. CleanSight does not receive your full payment-card details.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse CleanSight, attempt to disrupt it, reverse engineer it except where law allows, use it to violate another person's rights, or use it in a way that violates applicable law. You must have the right to access and process content you use with the app.

Ownership

CleanSight, including its software, design, text, and branding, is licensed rather than sold and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You keep your rights in your own content.

Third-party services

CleanSight relies on Apple services and may use Firebase and RevenueCat for analytics, diagnostics, configuration, and purchases. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices. Availability may depend on Apple, your device, your region, network access, and third-party services.

Updates and availability

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We may require a supported app or iOS version for security, compatibility, or reliability. We will not intentionally remove access to vault restoration solely because a Pro plan ends.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CleanSight is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, complete scan results, a specific amount of recovered storage, or that Privacy Scan will identify every sensitive item. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BiteSight Ltd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from your use of CleanSight. Any limitation applies only to the extent allowed in your jurisdiction and does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.

Termination

You may stop using CleanSight at any time. We may suspend access if required by law or if you materially misuse the app. Sections that should reasonably survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations, continue to apply.

Governing law and disputes

Subject to mandatory consumer protections and Apple's applicable terms, these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, while any court or dispute process that mandatory consumer law makes available to you remains available.

Changes

We may update these terms when CleanSight or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
